Star opts for Latics over Bolton
Wigan Athletic new kid on the block, Rachid Bouaouzan, revealed that he spurned Bolton Wanderers, FC Utrecht and Feyenoord when signing for the Latics.
It`s the second time this summer that the JJB has been chosen over the Reebok with Antoine Sibierski opting for Chris Hutchings revolution over Sammy Lee`s evolution
Bouaouzan revealed that he also had a medical with Dutch club Feyenoord but wanted to sign for the Latics
With Wigan players Denny Landzaat and Mario Melchiot using the same agent as Bouaouzan they used a little bit of influence and met Bouaouzan at Manchester Airport
The 25 year old winger made his first start in a Latics shirt for the reserves in the nil-nil draw at Ewood Park against
Blackburn on Monday and he`s now hoping for a 1st team game against Fulham in the Premiership on Saturday week
