United no fear for Wigans Boyce

Wigan Athletic defender Emerson Boyce reckons that the Latics can go to Old Trafford next Saturday and get a result against Manchester United after taking the positives out of yesterday`s home defeat to Liverpool

Boyce told the clubs official web site that he felt Man U are a great club and that there will be a great atmosphere but other clubs have gone to Old Trafford and caused an upset in the past so why cant the Latics

It`s good to hear a player talking about getting something from one of the so called big four, in previous seasons games were lost before kick-off due to Paul Jewells inferiority complex

Latics were unlucky not to win yesterdays encounter against Liverpool but ended up with nothing, two poor decisions from the linesmen denied Latics a goal and a penalty both occasions ruled out wrongly for off-sides

Speaking about the Liverpool game Boyce said that the defence had been comfortable through out the game and that we had created a few chances of our own.

One chance stands out clearly and now I see why Aghahowa hasn`t been in the team, my Granny would have scored that chance at the end of the game, why did we sell Folan?

Do you feel as optimistic as Boycie about the United game?
