Michael Brown man of the match

Wigan Athletic fans voted Michael Brown Man of the Match in last Saturday`s game against Liverpool, he was closely followed in the votes by Jason Koumas

Dynamic display

It would be hard to disagree with the choice of Brown as Latics star player, he gave a dynamic display in the midfield, he was all over the pitch and at times put his body well and truly on the line

Brownie also got what now seems like his compulsory yellow card.

Brown is the type of player that the Latics have been missing for the past couple of seasons; he gets about the opposition and also gives the ref a bit of ear ache.

In a game that Latics were unlucky not to win but ended up losing Brown was excellent

What the poll asked - Who was Latics Man of the Match against Liverpool?

How you voted - Michael Brown 31%, Jason Koumas 29%, Titus Bramble 12%

Current Poll - Saturday is another big game for the Latics with a visit to Old Trafford in a lunch time kick-off against the Champions Manchester United

Latics have yet to get a point off United home or away and we were well beaten in the Carling Cup final a couple of seasons ago

But the red side of Manchester aren`t turning any one over at the moment and we could be playing them at the right time before they find their shooting boots

United are the Premierships 2nd lowest scorers behind Derby and if we can nick a goal then you never know

A draw would be a credible result here`s hoping, so the question is - Who will win on Saturday. Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
