The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan made Chris Kirkland man of the match in the game against Manchester United last Saturday with Titus Bramble in 2nd and substitute Antonio Valencia in 3rd
Kirkland kept the score down
In the first half Kirkland made a couple of good saves one of which was outstanding and it came from a header by a Latics player, Olembe who was making his debut.
The Latics were totally over run in the second half and Kirkland couldn`t be blamed for any of the goals, in fact he kept the score down
To show how poor the Latics played at Old Trafford in third place in the poll was Antonio Valencia who was a late second half sub
What the poll asked - Who was man of the match against Manchester United
How you voted - Kirkland 63%, Bramble 13%, Valencia 9%
Current Poll - There is no game this weekend due to the international matches being played, but players dropping out and in one case being available for international squads, made the news this week.
Jason Koumas pulled out of the Wales squad with a hip injury to the 'disappointment` of Wales coach John Toshack and Michael Owen declared himself fit for England despite undergoing a hernia operation just last week and thus runs the risk of upsetting club boss Sam Allardyce.
So the great club Vs country debate continues. What we are asking is - 'Who should come first for players - club or country?` Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
