Roberts WILL Make Final

Jason Roberts will be eligible to play in the Carling Cup Final against Manchester United.

Roberts will be banned for 3 games following his red card against Everton, unless he appeals and gets it revoked of course.

He would miss the games against Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur which was rearranged from the 25th to the 18th.

Having seen the replay I think he should appeal against the red. He swung his elbow high, but it wasn't hard and he couldn't see the player behind him so he can't have aimed it at the face.

Doesn't look like Roberts will be appealing, read his column on BBC site http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/4669576.stm
