Wigans Brown Revved Up

Latics summer signing from Fulham Michael Brown says he wont be pulling out of any challenges even though he is only one booking away from a suspension

The former Spurs and Man City midfielder missed the first two games of the season following a suspension hanging over from his time at Fulham when he was dismissed for head butting Liverpools Alonso

Brown has been booked four times already this season playing for the Latics and he was lucky to escape a booking on Saturday when he headed up the foul count against Portsmouth with four free kicks given away

Brown insists that he wont be changing his style and relishes getting 'stuck in` during games, which admittedly gives Latics a bit of steel in the middle

Keep an eye on Brown and you will also see him constantly chatting to the referee, winding up the opposition and generally making a nuisance of himself, this is exactly the type of player we have been missing since Kav and Bullard left the club

With a tough game at St.Andrews this Saturday on the cards you can almost sense that Brown will pick up a booking

When the going gets tough Brown is a player not to shirk his responsibilities and he cant be faulted for lack of effort, he is just the type of player we will need in the coming months lets hope he doesn`t get too many suspensions

Michael Brown your type of player?
