Wigan keeper breaks leg

Carlo Nash has broken his leg in a training ground incident on Friday of last week

Nash reported that he was stretching for a ball in training and he said "I just went over awkwardly on it with all my weight and just heard this almighty crack.

People said they heard it from 20 yards away.

After a scan I found out that I broke my fibula.

I`ve had a screw and a plate put in, and I`m now in plaster for the next two weeks.

After that I can put the boot back on and start walking on it, but it`ll be about six to eight weeks until I`m back training.

I`m a quick healer so I`ll be pushing myself to be back as soon as possible."

Nash went on to say the Chris Hutchings phoned him on Monday morning to check on his progress but didnt mention the fact that he had been sacked, he only found out later in the afternoon when talking to Latics goalkeeping coach, Gary Walsh

The big keeper sent a text message to his former manager to offer his commiserations but said that there needs to be an appointment quickly to get some stability into the club

Talk about the sacking and who will be the new guy on the messgae board

Just reading your article on the side there. Martin JOL? Good luck if you appoint him, the guy is a idiot, and tacticaly useless. ! Stuart Pearce is the type your club needs.
