Wigan: Jol in front in fans poll

Following the dismissal of Chris Hutchings as manager of Wigan Athletic we decided that our latest poll should ask you the clubs fans who you would like to see as the new manager of our club

Martin Jol romps home

The ex-Spurs boss appears to be a firm favourite to step into Hutchs shoes with the fans he was way ahead in the poll of his nearest rival Graeme Souness

Jol in reality wont be coming to the JJB as manager of the club but some of the others in the poll just might make Dave Whelans short-list

What the poll asked - 'Who would you chose as Latics next Manager`

How you voted - Martin Jol 51%, Graeme Souness 10%, Chris Coleman 9%

Current Poll - Sunday is another big game for the Latics as they travel to North London hoping to put an end to the disastrous run of defeats that cost Hutch his job

Frank Barlow is in temporary charge of the first team and will pick a side that can hopefully pick up at least a point, we are in serious trouble and any points would be more than appreciated so lets hope that we get something out of the game.

The poll is asking - 'Who will win on Sunday?`

Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page

Still think its a done seal with Sounes, especially with him turning down the Bolton job, as for Sunday a very surprising draw would be nice

As a spurs fan, I love big MJ, but if he comes your way I hope you like 'a wing and prayer' football. Souness, player great, but manager I'd say no. Get PJ back, honestly!

Do you think that Frank Barlow will take the "Softly Softly" approach?

It will not be Jol as he is holding out for the Holland job.
will it ever happen
yeah no chance of jol, cant you get whelan back? he's a good manager and knows the team and backroom staff, stick with what you know
SMOKIEJACK
Not sure why you´d want Jol anyway, not like he actually won them spuds anything now did he?
Blue is the colour
Better than the two 'spud heads' we are linked with Jewell and Royle
worbo
Err...(Shudders..) Valid point there, Worbo...:)
