Bertschin starts with loss

New Wigan Athletic coach and reserve team boss took charge of his first game tonight at the Robin Park Arena as the 2nd string played Manchester City

Latics included Ryan Taylor, David Cotterill, Fitz Hall and Josip Skoko in the starting eleven

Unfortunately for Big Keith it wasn`t a dream start with the rest of the team made up of mostly kids they went down 2-4 with City youngster Paul Marshall grabbing himself a hat-trick

The teams for this evenings game were:

Latics: Postlethwaite; Taylor, Hall, Ashworth, Moore; Cwyka, Montrose, Skoko, Bouaouzan, Cotterill, Mahon.

Subs:Novak, Kupisz, Holt, Hampson, McCaughtrie, Pearson.

City: Mentel, Obeng, Williamson (c), MacDonald, Breen, Clayton, Vidal, Grimes, Moore, Ball, Marshall.

Subs: M Daly, Hartley, Mouritsen, Weiss, McDermott.
