Camara Back for Liverpool Game

Camara Back for Liverpool Game

Wigan Athletic manager Paul Jewell is hoping to get Senegalese striker Henri Camara back in time for the Liverpool game.

Camara plays his last game of the African Nations Cup on Thursday afternoon, after which the Senegal team will fly to Paris. If Camara can make it back to Manchester by Friday afternoon and shows no ill-effects from the recent matches or the journey, then he will feature in the match against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Latics are currently without a striker for the game due to injuries to David Connolly and Lee McCulloch, Neil Mellor being ineligible to play against his own club and Jason Roberts’ 3-match suspension after being sent-off in the Everton game.

Camara isn't in the starting 11 for Senegal, don't know if he is on the bench though. Hope he isn't injured and is just being rested for Saturday.

Camara came on for the last 20 minutes, so he can't be injured.
