Michael Brown Man of the Match

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan voted Michael Brown as their man of the match in the game against Sam Allardyces Newcastle at the JJB on Boxing Day

All action performance

Brownie gave his best performance yet in a Latics shirt with an all action performance from start to finish. He unsettled the Newcastle midfield and allowed the Latics to dominate play

There was also big games from Ryan Taylor, who scored from a wonderful free kick and Titus Bramble who was outstanding against his former club

What the poll asked - Man of Match Vs Newcastle

How you voted - Michael Brown 47%, Ryan Taylor 23%, Titus Bramble 20%

Current Poll - The Newcastle win sets us up nicely for our final game of 2007 at home to the Villa

Villa are enjoying a hot vein of form away from Villa Park and come to the JJB fresh off a titanic performance that earned them a 4-4 draw at Chelsea on Boxing Day

It will be a tough game for both clubs but the question the must be answered is - 'Who will win on Saturday?`

Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
