If it Fitz - Latics' Hall off to QPR

If it Fitz - Latics' Hall off to QPR

Wigan Athletic defender Fitz 'One Size` Hall appears to on his way out of the JJB after the Latics and Championship club Queens Park Rangers agreed a fee for the former Crystal Palace and Oldham man

Hall joined the Latics in the summer of 2006 along with Emerson Boyce from Palace, the pair being signed by former manager Paul Jewell for a combined £4.5 million

Although Boyce went on to be a regular in the side Hall has struggled with injuries and form and to date he has made just 25 appearances for the Latics with only one of those this season.

Hall has all the attributes of a top class defender, strength, pace, he`s athletic and aggressive yet Latics fans saw very little of these in his time at the JJB

Maybe 'One Size` is more suited to life in the Championship rather than the Premiership because he does have something to offer.

All at Vital Wigan wish him well for the future

Wigan 1-2 Bradford Match Report

Latics dropped to a deserved 1-2 defeat at the hands of Bradford, our first loss at home in the league since March. It was an off-day, defence looked shaky from the off and once Nick Powell went off injured, we never really threatened to score. We are back at the DW on Tuesday against Doncaster Rovers, an opportunity to get back on track.

Paul Cook named an unchanged side from our last league game, with Michael Jacobs returning to the starting line-up.
