BBC and Sky, Latics and Villa

The two broadcasting giants the BBC and Sky have previewed and made predictions on todays tussle at the JJB

Lets see what they have to say:

Mark Lawrenson BBC Sport football expert (now theres a contradiction)

Wigan v Aston Villa

Wigan have done well under Steve Bruce so far, but Newcastle were poor against them on Wednesday and I expect Villa to give them a much sterner test.

Villa have got great pace all across the front areas and I feel it will be difficult for Wigan to cope with them.

Prediction: 1-2

Sky Sports.com

PREDICTIONS:

The Villa boss described the game at Stamford Bridge as 'phenomenal', but he is likely to welcome a comfortable three points at the JJB as his side continue their pursuit of European qualification.

However, Wigan are unlikely to roll over easily and manager Steve Bruce will be hoping to build on a run of three games without defeat as the Latics bid to move away from the relegation zone.

Skysports.com predicts: 1-1

Mmmm so Lawro is going for a Villa win and Sky are sitting on the fence with a 1-1.

Well Vital Wigan will now step in:

Villa will be arriving at the JJB thinking an easy win is on the cards, this will suit Steve Bruces rejuvinated Latics and after a hard fought game the points will be staying in Lancashire

Vital Wigan predicts 2-1 Wigan win

Do you know how long we are unbeaten away? You clearly lack football knowledge and have a huge bias to your own team.

Good teams dont have to play at their best to win. Told you we would win - too much quality in the Villa team, good try though. Better luck next time, if your still in the prem.

valencia should be banned the dirty little greasy slag. fair play to bouma for letting his football do the talking - he kicked valencia all over the pitch for 90 mins.
