Bramble Man of the Match Vs Villa

Bramble Man of the Match Vs Villa

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan selected Titus Bramble man of the match in Saturdays game at the JJB against Aston Villa

First goal

Bramble scored his first goal for the club since his move from Newcastle and had a superb game at the back but he was unable to stop Latics going down to a 1-2 defeat

Bramble had another good game and so did Michael Brown who seems to be settling down in the Latics midfield now he has had a run of games

What the poll asked - Man of Match Vs Villa

How you voted - Titus Bramble 38%, Michael Brown 19%, Chris Kirkland 18%

Current Poll - Liverpool are the next club that the Latics will face and it will be both teams first fixture of 2008, both side needing a win for totally different reasons

Heskey is again doubtful for the game but the rumour is that the Latics could have TWO new signings in by then.

Wigan have never taken a point off Liverpool home or away but there is now a new fighting spirit about the Latics that will make this game anything but a roll over, so lets see if you can forecast the result via the poll - 'Who will win on Tuesday?`

Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

The poll can be accessed on the right side of this page

merlin have you watched him play for Wigan this season? he has made 1 really bad blunder against Man City but apart from that he has been brilliant for us week in week out. Bramble has been our buy of the seasen without a doubt, next prob Bent followed by Melchiot.

Dan's Big Game Report - Blackpool 0 Latics 4

As you read this message in the year 2036, much of Blackpool vs. Wigan '16 has passed into the annals of Latics lore. Scarcely has a single game of kickball received quite as much build-up - from the minute this fixture was announced to the moment match ref Stuart Attwell finally tootled on his tin whistle, talk of Bloomfield Road on 30 April was incessant.

And I expect it's been much the same since, with (admittedly failed) film scripts written and (admittedly shoddy) statues
