Pollsters were wrong

The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan opted for a home win for Liverpool and judging by some of the comments that were left on the message board most were confident of an easy victory

How wrong we were

The Latics fought like Trojans and earned a historic first ever point against one of Englands big four thanks to a rocket from Titus Bramble

The blues fell behind to a Torres 48th minute tap in but responded superbly and Big 'T` scored a corker

How you voted - Liverpool win 50%, Latics win 27%, Draw 23%

Current Poll - Whilst we are talking about the game there were some superb performances from Latics players

Bramble once again was a rock in defence and for the second game running he scored the Latics goal, Kirkland pulled off some fantastic saves especially one double save to deny Gerrard and he looked solid through out the game

The team as a whole played well showing tremendous spirit and resilience so the question is - 'Who was Latics man of the match in the Liverpool game?`
