Wilson Comes in at Wigan

Honduras international midfield player and Birmingham City loanee Wilson Palacios has become Steve Bruces first signing as manager of Wigan Athletic.

The Latics are believed to have paid Palacios` club, Olimpia, a fee of around £1 million for the 23 year old, ironically the same price received from QPR last week for the sale of Fitz Hall.

If the necessary international clearance and paperwork can be done in time then Wilson Palacios should be in the Latics squad to face Derby County on Saturday.

The news of Wilson Palacios signing was broken by Vital Wigan two weeks ago, always first
