Wigans Sibs off to Lille?

There are rumours circulating that Wigan Athletic forward Antoine Sibierski could be about to leave the club.

According to sources French club Lille have made enquiries to the Latics about Sibs availability and they have been given the green light to discuss with the player about a possible move back to France.

Sibierski only joined the Latics in May and despite spending most of the preseason injured made a substitute appearance in the first game of the season at Goodison Park and scored Latics goal in a 2-1 defeat by Everton.

Sibierski quickly went on to establish himself in Latics front line before a string on niggling injuries has made his Latics career so far a bit stop start.

Sibierski is a fans favourite and it will be a shame if he is allowed to leave even though he is something of a squad player there is an undoubted quality about him

I for one hope these rumours are just that, rumours

What do you think? Should Sibierski be allowed to leave?
