Honduras internationals Wilson Palacios and Maynor Figueroa are waiting for work permits and international clearance before being unveiled officially by Wigan Athletic

Palacios, who Latics boss Steve Bruce claims is the new Paul Ince, is expected to be a £1 million pound signing on a three and half year deal

Whilst full back Figueroa is a six month loan signing both players are from the Olympias club.

Ecuador international Carlos Tenorio is also linked with a £1 million move to the JJB and the Latics continue to be linked with Rennes left back Erik Edman and Hibs defender David Murphy

figueroa is a LB but we've got to wait on that international clearance it appears and who knows how long that will take. i've got faith SB will bring us a quality LB before the windows over

I mean a recognised LB, he is more a depth/squad style of player
