The voters on the last poll on Vital Wigan opted for an away win for the Latics at Pride Park against Derby, who are managed by former Latics legend Paul Jewell.
How right we were
The Latics never looked like losing this game as they were in total control and the only surprise was that it took until the 82nd minute to score the goal that won the game
Latics made a bright start and should have been out of sight by half time with three excellent chances squandered, the best of which fell to Antonio Valencia on the stroke of halftime
What the poll asked - Who will win on Saturday
How you voted - Latics win 74%, Derby win 8%, Draw 18%
Current Poll - Whilst we are talking about yesterday`s game there were some solid performances from the Latics with Michael Brown again outstanding in the middle of the park
Sib`s came on late and scored the winning goal with his first touch after being set up by Bent who had another game full of running and endeavour.
At the back both Melchiot and Bramble caught the eye whilst new man Wilson Palacios did nothing wrong and should have been awarded a penalty after being flattened by Claude Davies
Antonio Valencia was at the centre of most things that Latics created and when he came on Jason Koumas did some good runs and put the Derby defence under pressure, so who do you feel was - 'Latics man of the match in the Derby game?`
Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
