Edman Coming in at Wigan?

It appears that former Spurs left back and current Rennes player Erik Edman could be about to sign for Wigan Athletic

Guy Lacombe the Rennes manager told their official website:

'It is true that there have been talks about his departure,'

'It is imperative that we find a defender in his position before we allow Erik's transfer.

'I think we all agree on that. He wants that and the club does as well.

'It is a matter of circumstances. I think it will be done in time.'

Speculation is rife that the Latics have agreed a £1 million fee and a two and half year contract to take the Swedish International to the JJB
