Wigan Losing Balance

Wigan Losing Balance

Wigan Athletic appear to be losing a little balance this January transfer window, Fitz Hall left the club for the glitzy lights of Shepherds Bush and QPR, but so far that`s it.

With three players coming in, Wilson Palacios, Erik Edman and Maynor Figueroa we are out of balance with the usual transfer dealings of our lovely little club.

We always seem to operate on a one in one out basis and I know that there is another two weeks left and we could be losing some still, but this is promising

The arrival of Steve Bruce may have had some bearing on the fact that we seem to be increasing the size of our first team squad, because it is small, he identified lack of depth as one of our major problems

Lets hope that Bruce is given some serious cash (anything over £3 mil) and we can keep out of balance and get a bit of quality into the squad

I think it's mainly due to the fact that we can't offload the likes of Olembe, Aggy, and Rachid. Balance will be restored in due course.

Latics v QPR - Big Game Preview

An important game at the DW Stadium tomorrow for the Latics, Gary Caldwell will be hoping to banish the disappointment of conceding a 93 minute goal away at Forest last Saturday that saw a point slip away after coming from behind three times in the game.

QPR are in town, they aren't quite the multi-millionaires that they were the last time that we met, that was in the play off semi-final in 2014, but they do have a squad with lots of quality and will certainly pose a threat.
