The game between Wigan Athletic and Everton at the JJB has got a lot of people talking, the state of the pitch, the referee, Brambles miss kick, the result, but the two opinions that cut the most are the managers, Steve Bruce and David Moyes, lets see what they have to say.
Latics boss Steve Bruce:
'I was pleased with our start but the one thing you can't eradicate is human error. Unfortunately for Titus he's been punished again.
'That takes the confidence out of the team and we never recovered because the second goal was just as bad.
'When you make those mistakes in the Premier League then you get punished.'
'Even the second one, we should have better defending on a set piece. I think the first mistake knocked the confidence out of the team for a couple of minutes.
'And when you are 2-0 down in the Premier League it's always very, very difficult to get back.
'The one thing with elementary mistakes is that you hope you learn from them and get better.
'Everyone makes mistakes, but unfortunately for Titus it seems that when the cameras are here on a big occasion, when he makes one; he gets punished for it.
'It is something he has to brush up on and learn from. Since I have been here he has made a couple of mistakes and got punished, but for eight, nine games he has been terrific.'
Everton boss David Moyes:
'It was a battle, and we probably went in two goals ahead not really justifying it,'
"But nevertheless we were clinical and when we got the chances we took them.
'I didn't think we played well, but I knew why; it was because Wigan had played well. They never let us settle.
'All credit to our lads. As the season goes on you have grind wins out. It's an important three points.'
Well there you have it, both managers being honest and now we can both look forward to cup games against Chelsea
