Hampton, have you noticed Cook seems to go ballistic at officials etc when we aren't getting our own way, don't you agree he should channel that "passion" in to organising and/or encouraging the players/fix the problems?
If you notice Cook is as nice as pie when we are controlling the game or winning, like i said earlier, i am all for a passionate manager but Cook is going about it the wrong way!

I can't believe the stick that Cooky's getting purely for showing a little bit of passion. Supporters used to have a pop at other Managers (especially Bob) for not showing enough passion on the touchline !

If I remember rightly, one of our team had just been wrestled to the floor, and the Ref - with a great view - had just waved play on. Cooky rightly went ape-shit.

95% of Managers are the same. Was anyone watching Robinson on friday night? ........whinging at the 4th official all match long....... as was Hurst on Boxing Day ......and to show it's not just a League 1 thing, what about Klopp, Mourinho, Wenger, Allardyce, etc, etc.

If we're starting to pick on the Manager for showing his displeasure at shoddy decisions, then it's a touch pathetic. As for having a brew on the touchline - take him to the tower !

So what is the problem with Cook having a brew and looking like a builder? Are you a snob with something against builders and us working class who like a brew?As for getting excited then as Moonay says thats a touch pathetic,Give me a Cook or a Klopp type manager who wears their heart on their sleeve anytime!!

I'd also rather have PC as he Is, passionate and vocal. Who are we to know that maybe one or two 50/50 decisions that cud go either way is given to us because of PC being so vocal!!!

Yes, it's just like being at home
Would be more worried if he was ranting when things are going our way.
I also do see him giving instructions to players as well so for me it's all good !

Jock, a lot of decisions seem to go against us after Cook has rubbed the officials up the wrong way!

Moonay, no one is giving Cook stick for his passion or winning mentality, people are saying he just needs to calm down, going bonkers at officials for the slightest thing and direct that "passion" towards putting things right on the pitch when things aren't going our way!

Exiled, i work in property maintenance so no i have nothing against builders and i am certainly not a snob.

Haven't you got a mind of your own? I notice once again you wait for someone to disagree then repeat more or less what that poster has already posted!

Can't say that I've noticed too many decisions going against us when PC has had a few rants at the officials....I'm prob to busy screaming at the ref or whinging about a miss placed pass lol

Kendal picked up on it earlier, at the Charlton game Cook blasted the 4th official because a Charlton player took a throw in 2 yards further forward more than it should have been, summat and nowt!

I think Grip that was because the Ref had been arsey on one of ours, but seemed happy to let that go.

As I say, Cook's no worse than others ......... and and would get twice the ear-ache of he kept his calm and didn't show he was bothered.

By the way, he's done the job with Samy wouldn't you say. A lot calmer recently.

Well done Cooky.
;o)

Yes i agree he's sorted Morsy out, now he should follow his own advice and calm down, have a brew at half time and lose that bloody bob cap!

I was avoiding bringing up the vpl...but seen as you mentioned the nylon tracksuit. Each to their own. You may say it's pathetic, but I shouldn't be able to hear the manager screaming f sake at officials when I'm sitting 2 blocks away. As I said before, I'm sure there's a bit of tit for tat with how that affects refereeing decisions against us. Some don't mind it, I personally do
