Fulham v Latics Preview

Latics travel to Fulham this afternoon hoping to build on their current good form, no away defeats this season and just one defeat in the last ten games in all competitions.

Ahead of the game Martinez will have a few selection headaches, both Steve Gohouri and Gary Caldwell are fit to return and following Caldwell getting 90 minutes in the Carling Cup win against Swansea in the week, the club skipper will be pushing for his place back.

Gomez, Rodallega, Di Santo and N`Zogbia have all been in fine form of late and Latics attacking options are really hotting up, record signing Mauro Boselli got off the mark on Tuesday with his first competitive goal for the club putting the pressure on for a place at the start of the game.

Latics haven`t won at Fulham since 28th October 2006 when a Henri Camara goal gave them a 1-0 victory against the Cottagers.

Fulham are having a few problems with injuries at the moment and talisman Bobby Zamora is facing a long lay-off with a broken leg following a challenge by Wolves skipper Karl Henry, now when have we heard his name before?

What The Boss Says:

Latics boss Roberto Martinez:

'Craven Cottage is a fantastic home for Fulham with a great support behind them.

'Last season's game is something we need to learn from. We had very good spells during that game, had the lead at half-time but allowed them to get back into the game cheaply.

'Mark Hughes has embraced all the success they've enjoyed in recent years and brought in players with real quality to take the football club in a new direction.'

Fulham Team News:

Duff, Kelly, Senderos, Etuhu and Zamora are all out injured whilst Davies and Murphy are doubtful

Fulham from:

Schwarzer, Kelly, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Gera, Baird, Greening, Dempsey, Dembele, Kamara, Andrew Johnson, Stockdale, Pantsil, Eddie Johnson, Dikgacoi, Halliche.
