West Brom v Latics Preview

Wigan Athletic travel down the M6 this evening to face West Brom in a bottom of the table clash looking for their second double of the season.

Latics beat the Baggies at the DW Stadium back in November and would welcome a similar result tonight has they try and claw their way out of the bottom three.

With players coming back from injury thick and fast there is a renewed optimism around the camp, James McCarthy and Victor Moses are both chomping at the bit and shouting for a starting place, though Moses` lack of fitness could see him on the bench.

West Brom are in real danger of being sucked into the relegation fight and are desperate to keep a clean sheet for the first time in 21 matches as their defensive frailties look like a big problem for Roberto de Matteo.

With ex-Latic Paul Scharner in the Baggies team though there is likely to be a little episode or two tonight, here`s hoping for a good game and three points to take back up the M6.

West Bromwich Albion Team News:

The Baggies could be set to give new signing Carlos Vela his debut, but Graham Dorrans is out.
