A must win game, simple as that, six straight Premier League defeats and the danger of going into freefall needs to be stopped this afternoon, last weeks performance against Newcastle gave some hope, the Latics started the game brightly for once, that bright start needs to be the order of the day today
Expect just one change from last Saturdays team selection, leading scorer Franco Di Santo should come back into the side with Albert Crusat dropping down to the bench, the fit again James McCarthy will have to do with a place on the bench after the midfield three of Diame, Watson and Jones played so well last time out
Fulham are also on a bad run and find themselves just two points and two places better off than the Latics, a defeat at the DW would see Martin Jol`s side slip into the bottom three, not what was expected of the West London side at the start of the season.
Games between the Latics and Fulham are usually very drab affairs, I don`t care how drab today`s game is so long as we come away with the three points.
Latics boss Roberto Martinez:
It's always been a difficult fixture for both teams, all our previous encounters have tended to be close games and they're in a similar position to us but are still a very difficult team to beat'
'It will be tough, but the sense of disappointment after the undeserving defeat at Newcastle has left us with a feeling of determination to get back out onto the pitch to start getting the results we need.
'Saturday is a big opportunity for us to get to our fans and buy some football happiness.'
With a fully fit squad it will be interesting to see if Martinez makes any changes from the team that were so unlucky at Newcastle last time out
Latics possible:
Al-Habsi, Boyce, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, Watson, Jones, Diame, Moses, Rodallega, Di Santo
There would be no better game for Hugo to get his first goal of the season
Hugo's due a goal

Sa, Davies and Hughes are all out, Senderos is doubtful.
Fulham from: Schwarzer, JA Riize, Hangeland, Baird, Grygera, Sidwell, Murphy, Dempsey, Johnson, Zamora, Dembele, Ruiz, Etheridge, Duff, Kelly, Etuhu,Frei
