Latics take on Bournemouth tonight in the FA cup 3rd round replay with Macclesfield Town awaiting the winners
In the original tie at the DW Stadium, Bournemouth proved what an excellent side they are, so the Latics could be in for a torrid time down on the South Coast
Martinez says he will bring in the fringe players to give them game time, so new boys Henriquez and Espinoza could be in the squad, I'd expect Henriquez to start but not too sure about Espinoza
With non-league opposition drawn for the fourth round tie there is genuine optimism that a win tonight, for either side, could see a cup run being built, let's hope it's the Latics who are celebrating come 10pm, unless it goes to penalties, then it'll be a little later
Latics boss Roberto Martinez
'The replay gives us another chance to see the progression of the young players at the club and hand an opportunity to players who need minutes on the pitch.
'We all know Bournemouth have real momentum at the moment and good quality within the team, and playing at home will bring that out of them even more.
'But we're looking forward to the test, and it will be an exciting game in which we see other members of the group meet the demands of this time of season.'
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe
'As a young manager, Roberto Martinez was and still is a source of inspiration to me. When we were at Burnley we were just around the corner so I've some dealings with him.
'He's done a great job at Wigan and he laid the foundations at Swansea.
'Wherever he goes, he builds those foundations. He looks long-term at the future of the football club which you have a duty to do as a manager but not many actually follow that through.
'He's someone I have immense respect for and it's good to come up against him, although the replay is potentially more difficult than the first game for us.'

In all three matches of this seasons FA Cup thus far, David James has stepped aside for Shwan Jalal and the same could happen this evening.
Matt Tubbs also started the original fixture and could be in-line for a recall if Howe opts to rest first choice strikers Lewis Grabban and Brett Pitman.
Wes Thomas has yet to feature in this seasons FA Cup and could play after making a substitute appearance against Swindon Town, or Howe could choose not to cup tie him just in case he does depart Dean Court later this month.
Shaun MacDonald, Miles Addison, Darryl Flahavan, Stephen Purches and Charlie Sheringham all remain on the sidelines.
I liked the look of the midfielder in the first game and he scored a cracking goal
Expect wholesale changes from the Latics, Kone is away on ACN duty, whilst Ramis, Alcaraz, Watson, Crusat and Miyaichi are out injured
Angelo Henriquez is set to get a start tonight
It will be interesting to see if the youngster can make a big impression
