Bruce to Watch from Stands

Steve Bruce will watch his new club take on Arsenal from the stands as he will only take up the reigns officially at Wigan Athletic on Monday

It may be a blessing in disguise and give Bruce the opportunity to assess his new players without being too involved as the Latics attempt to end a run of 6 league defeats

Arsenal are sitting on top of the Premiership, a position that the Latics held briefly early this season before the run of defeats saw them fall down the table

Arsene Wenger will be urging his players to be prepared for a tough game tomorrow with the Wigan players trying to impress their new boss and Latics always seem to give the Gunners a game

Arsenal are unbeaten in 19

Be nice welcome for Brucie if we could snatch a draw

Expect to see several young arsenal players join yourselves on loan & maybe some permanently over the next couple of years. Steve Bruce & Arsene have a great working relationship & get on very well, so that should work well for you boys!! Hope its a good game tomorrow although I still want a big win as we need to keep up our goal difference to stay top ahead of man utd.
