Tottenham Hotspur 9 - Wigan Athletic 1

White Hart Lane

Embarrassing

Not a lot to say really, we were awful, the signs were there after 2 minutes when Lennon skinned Edman and that`s as good as it got for Erik as he was very exposed.

Didn`t understand why N`Zogbia wasn`t switched early on with Rodallega, he could have given some protection down our left; we were wide open down that side all afternoon.

The first goal was soft in my opinion the other 8 were all very well taken.

Our movement off the ball was non-existent and there was no dynamism or leadership on the pitch, Hendry Thomas looked totally knackered, our passing was woeful and there was no cutting edge to our play.

Spurs looked fantastic and they were hungry, decisive and worked for each other, totally the opposite of a very sorry looking Latics side, I hope it hurts the players because that performance today was a disgrace and totally unacceptable.

Match report? Spurs scored 9 we got 1, embarrassing

A terrible day but the good days will come and one day, we may drub someone 9! What goes around come round.

Not sure who you will drub 9 Robin - I havent seen the goals yet but it must have been very unpleasant to watch. Did many of your fans stay to the end?

The good news is that we got the rub of the green with the ref!

Ouch....i switched to this match once we won the lancashire derby.....was kinda hoping you guys got up since i hate the spuds....as bad as you guys played, tottenham were on. If Defoe had all of Crouches attempts on goals, i do fear double figures. Anyways, look on the bright side lads, your not in the drop zone, and theres a long way to go! ALl the best!

Martinez never corrected the failures on Edman's side.

Id be sick if id paid good money to travel from lancashire to watch that S***! you deserve ur money back frm the players, felt sorry for edman coming back to the lane, he was left one on one wiv probaly the most inform winger far to often, unlucky anyway, ur players deserved but the fans dont.
