The curse of the 'Golden Boot'

Last season's winner was Marcus Bent with seven goals and this season sees an increase with Amr Zaki's ten goals for the Latics.

What is interesting is both winners have secured this honour by only scoring goals before the New Year.

It`s that time of year again when here at Vital Wigan when we ask you to vote for your Latics player of the season to see who`ll win the Latics Speyk Alf Craig Trophy

Last seasons award went to Mario Melchiot and season 2006/07 Emile Heskey.
