Exciting game
worbo
very exciting, back to the wall for you guys at times - not sure on the possession stat I must admit, thought we had more than that then again you did hold on to the ball longer when you had it, usually for free kicks, goal kicks and throw ins!!!!!!!!!!!! :o) Would think you are the happier of the two teams with the draw judging by the chances we had + goal line clearances? Can't wait to see if the ball did go over the line (hope not, don't want to be cursing the lack of those 2 points at the end of the season) and whether it was a penalty, looked like one but the replays often tell a different story.
The Fear
Penalty to us? Defo but you dont get 'em all
worbo
there was probably a claim both ways worbo, I'm being unbiased, thought the ref and his assistants were woeful. But you must admit it was the battle of the alamo at times in your area! Gabby, Heskey, John Carew and Davies all missed very good chances + the goal line clearances etc! Hard fought draw for you guys, no criticism at all especially after what we did at your gaff. Bruce wasn't impressed today, he was effing all over the place at the players!
The Fear
Can I just say a big thank you to the travelling Wigan fans. The way they joined in the applause for Johnny Dixon and Vic Crowe (two villa legends who sadly died last week) was very much appreciated. Well done lads.
