Frustrating
worbo
I particularly enjoyed watching Victor Moses stood on the sidelines, ready to play, for a full 10 minutes before eventually being brought on in the 86th minute, as if the remaining 4 minutes were enough time for him to turn the game around! After the excellent displays against Spurs and Sunderland, this was a return to the frustrations of last season. Very poor.

Martinez has not got clue when it comes to the premiership. He stands on the sidelines with about as much passion as a Gormley statue at Formby point. How does he expect the players to show any passion when he doesnt seem to have any? The sooner he goes the better and if Whelan has to go with him then so be it. They will both leave anyway when the team is playing in an empty stadium next season. If any of you guys were in any doubt about Rodelegga being tripe then I think todays display should dispel any doubt, I wouldnt pay him with washers.

Poor poor show from Wigan. Back passing to no avail. Poor forward moment up front. I could paint them they stood around that much at times. Poor service to Di Santo generally, Hugo ineffective against Michael Richards, N'Zogbia a minnow of his former self, ad to that a Diame that looked knackered after 45 mins and continually losing the ball, as well as everyone else looking off the pace and what could we expect. Certainly not two subs to change a game on 85 mins. Has Martinez a clue, because on this performance people will stay away even more. The passing back across the back 4 was way over the top, and looked stupid and unnecessary a lot of the times. Rooney couldn’t score in this Wigan team. 5-5-1 isn’t working all of the time.
WN1
I agree with WN1. I have not missed a game since Springfield Park days but, I will not be going again as long as Martinez is there. I blame Whelan for robbing me of my team. He seems to think that everybody has to do as he pleases. I am a bit too long in the tooth to be threatened by him and his threat to leave if the supporters demand the head of Roberto. If he happens to read these comments then I hereby officially demand the sacking of the manager.

stam shud have started i dont rate boyce let n'zog go in january he isnt focused try rodders as striker with di santo just behind him

we were beaten fair and square,i cant remember us even having a decent goal chance.if the rest including martinez had the desire that mccarthy and di santo showed wigan would be winning these games.city dont even have a top class back four and wigan couldnt make a decent chance.
