How bad/bent was Atkinson
worbo
Atkinson didnt dive in with both feet, nor did he commit two stupid fouls. All he did was punish the players who did. He might well of done us a favour, Rodallega will thankfully be out for the next three games. N'Zogbia was the best player on the park and if we could find a striker worthy of the name who can turn the chances Zog creates into goal we might just have the slightest chance of keeping him. I cant help but think that if an experienced premiership manager had this group of players we would not be in the bottom three.
Standish mon
What Atkinson didnt do was punish Vidic for shoving Rodallega has he was heading the ball in the box, then right on half time he didnt punish Vidic for bring down N'Zogbia when he was running into the Man U area...both were bookings..Vidic off, didnt happen, thats why he's bent, one rule for one side one for another
worbo
Listen, every ref in the prem is bent, a liar and the devil incarnate if he doesnt give every decision to any particular fans team. Get used to it, live with it and lets not be so biased. Latics played well but if they need the help of the ref all the time then they are in big trouble. Maybe someone who can put the ball in the net would help. Roberto's two 'goal machines' as he keeps telling us that is what they are, could certainly do with some oil.
Standish mon
Just a pity then that he could give the three decisions that changed the game...still I agree if we score goals then there are no problems, maybe Di Santo getting a run of at least three games will help his confidence in front of goal whilst Hugo is on the sidelines
worbo
We are not asking for any help from the referee, just a level playing field for all the less fashionable/small clubs. Surely that's not too hard to understand is it. I'm fairly sure Tony Pulis would share a similar view point. As for the ref doing us a favour sending off Rodders, well I'm fairly sure its detrimental to play with 9 men rather than 10 but maybe thats just my view.

Time after time we all see refs in the premiership favouring the 'big' teams, and especially Man utd. That's not being biased, that's an opinion that has been formed over countless years watching football and marvelling at some atrocious decisions against the 'smaller' teams.

Utd are getting a new kit at Christmas. Black shirt, Black shorts, Black socks and a whistle.
