Very poor display lads

I wonder what today's excuse will be? Something about key decisions and key moments of the game no doubt. And by Wednesday the players can't wait to put things right in the next match. Yawn... Getting very disillusioned with the whole thing I must say. And I don't just mean Latics, football in general. Not even watched Match of The Day for weeks.

Robero will take the positives from te game, but then again, if a sniper on the roof of the stand mowed down half of the team he would look for something positive to report. Martinez, Jones and Barrow....the 3 stooges, get rid of all three NOW, we are fast becoming he joke of the premiership. And please, none of the "look how far we have come" rubbish, it's begining to wear a bit thin.

Surely even Martinez can't find any positives from this one? Losing to the bottom club, Boselli - the new Aghahowa - missing a penalty, once again we don't look remotely "up" for the game... the one high spot was Cleverley's goal, but hey, come January and both he and Charlie Zog will more than likely be gone. Where does that leave us? The Championship, unless things pick up soon.

Soft goals were conceded by a team that lacks a solid core. West Ham were not three goals better than us and for a lot of the game we more than matched them. But if we have toothless forwards and a defence that allows teams to cut through them like a hot knife through butter - we deserve results such as this one.
