Strange that we had 4 players booked and they had none, yet one of our players left the field on a stretcher, another had to be subbed after a challenge and they comitted just one foul less than us, strange

they had 9 fouls and no yellow cards and we had 8 fouls ( 1 less ) and had 4 yellow cards ( 4 more ).how can that be explained.
